putting yourself out there. I've made many changes to my body and self these past few months. I've lost 100 pounds, I've written a book, and I've pitched myself to one of the biggest companies I've admired. Now I've decided to put more of my art out into the world.
This past month I had the honor of painting a wine barrel for a local art and wine festival, design a winning poster for the same festival and now I'm excited to be a finalist for the Alt Summit event 2019. I submitted a mural design that I feel would really resonate with women from all walks of life and I would be honored to create a piece of myself for the summit. What happens now is they have opened the submissions up for a vote. It would mean a great deal if you add a vote to my proposal.

Here is my concept for the mural design. The original concept piece will be in the Perfect 10 Art show at La Bodega Gallery this weekend. For more info about the show, visit La Bodega's Facebook Page.
Wish me luck!
I had mentioned earlier that I had also designed a wine barrel and poster for a local art and wine festival.
Here is a look at my barrel, that will be featured in a local business and the auctioned to help raise money for our local art mural project.
A touch of our small town, love of country, and my signature artistic look. She was painted in acrylic paints and sealed to last a life time. She will go up on auction in November.
The festival also announced that they would be doing their very first commemorative poster for the event. I created a design, i felt, would share a touch of our small town, its beautiful wineries, and it's abundance of talented artists. Mine was chosen as the first poster for the festival!! Signed prints will be sold and an artist reception will be held where the original artwork will be auctioned off to raise funds for our H.E.A.R.T. Mural project. I am honored to have my artwork featured in my home town.
